私も民間企業にいますが、常々「ソーシャルワーキング」を意識しています。
公務員じゃないけど、地域のため、社会のために貢献できるよう、あるいは迷惑をかけることがないよう気遣っています。

報酬や苦労から勘案すれば、うちの社員は公務員より公務員らしいと思います。
公務員として働く場合の能力として優れているかどうかはわかりませんが、少なくても「意識」は負けていないと思います。

そういう経験なしに公務員になった人とは、大きな違いがありますね。

公務員に向いてない民間で活躍しているような人のほうが、本当は公務員になったら素晴らしい公務員になるんでしょうね。

民間企業経験者だからといって、誰でもいい公務員になれるわけでもなさそうだ。

親戚の若者が、今年警察官になった。
彼は大学生時代に某有名焼肉チェーン店のアルバイトを長くやっていて、リーダー的な役割をこなしていた。
数あるチェーン店の中で、優秀店舗として表彰された経験があり、本人の自信になっていた。

彼の民間企業でのアルバイト経験が、かならず生きてくると期待している。
お客様の満足度を高めるために、いかに働く者たちの意識とチームワークが大切かを知っているからだ。

しかし、階級社会、組織社会のなかで、どれだけそれが消えうせていくのかも、私は興味をもって観察している。

これが本当にまかり通っているのなら、公務員は、国民に寄生しているダニということになる。
しかし、私の見る限りでは、数割の公務員は、本気で地域や国のためにがんばっていると思う。

ダニに成り下がるのか、本当の公僕になりきれるか。

本人も、孫子の未来も、本当の幸せを望むなら、人々から信頼される公僕になって欲しいと思います。
