当たり前のように与えられている米国依存の平和を自ら捨てられるだろうか？
私はできないと思う。

一度、震えがくるくらいの「危機」を経験しなければ、国民の意識は変わらないだろう。
それを望むのは適当でないので、水草のように揺られているしかないだろう。

最近、県内経済会の方々と懇談する機会がありました。
一様に新政権の下での地方がどうなるか不安視していました。
特に、事業仕分けで廃止や減額となった事業が、地方にどういう影響を及ぼすか予測がつかないことを心配していました。
道路特定財源の減少分が大きく、その分が地方に回ってこなければ、地方財政が困難に陥り、当然地場の企業にも影響が及びます。
デフレも心配していました。

激動の時代になりました。
地方にとっては、特にたいへんですね。

この先に見える光。

概念的に聞こえるかもしれませんが、向かって進みたくなる「光」を皆求めています。

鳩山さんは、本来なら自らひかる「光」になって、国民を照らさなければならない。
あるいは、目的地となる到達点を照らして、迷わないようにしてあげなければならない。

それができないから、「鳩山不況」と一部で囁かれるのでしょう。
